In what ways are you still the same Bronson people knew at Alta?
Bronson: I am still very immature and always looking crack another joke.
How did you first get into acoustic ceilings and specialty designs?
Bronson: I got a job working with my best friend for his dad at the age of 20. He owned one of the few company's in town that did Acoustical Ceilings at the time. After 15 straight years at that company my wife and I decided to start our own competing outfit. As a ceiling installer I was always required to walk on stilts as are all of my employees. Falling is an occupational hazard, I have only broken one arm in my 28 year career so I am doing pretty good. As a contractor in an ever evolving trade, I now focus my energy on building schools. My outfit builds all commercial buildings but we specialize in schools. We build the main show piece ceilings and wall designs throughout these buildings. My job is extremely complicated due to schedules and the complexity of the designs. I am in a full time arm wrestling match with architects, general contractors, and the owners. On top of that trying to babysit 20+ employees and manage an office and work with family can be quite taxing at times. When my wife can get along and have all these things working simultaneously it is so rewarding.
What is something fun or unexpected about you that our classmates may not know?
Bronson: I have a super cool butt tattoo. Yes I spent 6k getting an ass-tronaut on one cheek and an ass-troid tattooed on the other.
What is your favorite way to spend time with your family?
Bronson: Traveling for sure.
What do your children think or what have you told them about the person their dad was in high school?
Bronson: I was a bad kid and my kids know it. Also one of my besties was a known trouble maker in HS. Now we will pay the price though because my 16 year old daughter is dating his 16 year old son. Here comes the KARMA.
