“Gone Too Soon”

Our beloved husband, father, son and brother, Donavon M Goff, age 25, passed away July 15, 2003 due to complications following surgery. Born November 15, 1977 to Michael D. and Cindy Jensen Goff in Salt Lake City, Utah. Graduated from Alta High School and started into a profession he truly loved, being a machinist. He enjoyed going to work. Don loved the outdoors and any activity associated with the outdoors. He married his high school sweetheart, Kristie Naylor on March 22, 1996. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on July 25, 2001. Don was the father of three beautiful children. Don was a dedicated husband and father, a true sweet spirit. An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and he loved those Primary kids. Survived by his wife, Kristie; children, Cody (6), Shilie (4), Mallory (2); parents, Michael and Cindy Goff; sisters, Charity (Kelly) Money, Missoula, MT; Nikki and Shelby Goff; in-laws, Ruth and Gary Anderson, Mont and Roxanna Naylor; grandparents, Larry and LaDean Jensen.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 21, 2003 at 12 Noon in the Draper 5th Ward, 420 East Stokes Ave. ( 13540 South), Draper, Utah. Friends may call at the church on Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. or Monday from 10:45-11:45 a.m. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Donavon Goff Trust Fund, at Zions Bank, to help with funeral expenses.

Oh Dear Don, we miss you so. We wish you didn’t have to go. You touched us all while you were here. For you we shed a solemn tear. You’ll be waiting to take our hand. And lead us to the promised land. The place is called Heaven above. We’ll meet you there, full of love.
