Brady Lawrence Mitchell

Brady Lawrence Mitchell
1978 ~ 2014

Our “Budley” passed away at home on Jan. 23, 2014. He was born Nov. 6, 1978. He is now finally at peace, free of the pain and suffering he endured from his many physical problems. He will be missed by all who knew him. Friends and family meant a great deal to him and he was always ready to help anyone who needed counsel, consoling or help putting together documents. He even provided financial help to some even though he had very little himself. Brady was a very intelligent person, very diversified in his knowledge, especially in anthropology, science, economics and all areas of medicine. He worked at Fidelity Investments until his health started failing and was always one of their top producers and many clients insisted on speaking only to him. A special thanks to all the special people in his life that brought him happiness. Survived by parents, Larry & Char Mitchell; grandma, Connie Ririe; sister, Lisa Holloway (Rich); brother, Mike Mitchell (Andrea); nephews, Andrew & Shane Holloway; uncles, Larry, Bryan & Brad Ririe and their children.

Due to Brady’s wishes, we are foregoing a viewing and formal funeral and are planning a “Celebration of Life” to be held in June at the Great Salt Lake Marina Yacht Club. We will have the food, speeches, music (including vocals), pictures, etc. at that time. Information will be forth-coming.

Instead, at this time, we would like to invite all of his family and friends to a gathering at his final resting place at the Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 E. 10600 S.) on Saturday, Feb 1 from 2:00 to 4:00. Brady will rest in the “Courtyard of Eternal Life” on the south side of the outdoor mausoleum. Please come and honor Brady and converse and share memories. Thanks so much to all who have sent condolences and for all the kind words, memories and photos left on Facebook. These have meant so much to us.

Dearest Family and Friends;

I knew my time was running out—Life went so fast without a doubt. I am gone and I went fast as I look through the looking glass. Just know this, I loved you all, as I fell into the wall. So do not grieve, I’ve been set free from all my pain and misery. In your hours of wonder & grief, I am o.k., so do not weep. In all aspects of my life, I’ve made choices—Some not right. As friendships came and friendships went, I hold no grudge—TWAS TIME WELL SPENT. We’ve all laughed and we’ve all cried, BUT DO NOT LET LIFE PASS YOU BY. As some would pain, my trust they’d seek—for secrets shared are meant to keep. A heart of gold, I’m told I had. IF I’ve Hurt you, Please DON’T BE MAD. I hope I’ve made at least some laugh as I’ve looked through my hourglass. And now just know I am at peace. Just think of me as gone to sleep! Until we meet again. LOVE FROM THE “ADMIRAL”

THANKS AGAIN, MOM, FOR LETTING ME IN/Love and miss you Lots and Lots/Talk with you soon/Bud
