Huntsman Corp. of Salt Lake City has announced plans to double its polypropylene production capacity in Houston by 2000. President and Chief Operating Officer Peter R. Huntsman said the firm will add 925 million pounds of capacity by expanding and modernizing existing production facilities. Huntsman now produces 1.2 billion pounds at sites in Texas, New Jersey and Michigan.
