February 2, 1978 - March 21, 2026
On March 21st, 2026 the world lost a kind gentle soul.
Jesse passed away at his home in Cross Lake Manitoba.
Jesse was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on Feb 2,1978 to Ronald & Jeanne Bullock. Jesse has 3 siblings, Jason, Jeremy and Jenny. Jesse was the youngest of the brothers but it didn’t stop him from being the tallest of the brothers. Jesse’s brothers always looked and cared for him no matter how far apart they were.
Jesse attended Alta high school, where he played football and wrestled in which he both excelled in. Jesse went to the University of Utah for recruitment. During his time at the UofU Jesse decided to give 2 years of his life to being an LDS missionary. He loved being in the service of others. Jesse would meet his wife Ethel in an elevator in Winnipeg, Manitoba during his LDS mission. He later married Ethel and raised three beautiful children together, Miagen, Joseph and Kristen. Jesse worked as a building inspector for Sunrise Engineering and Draper City. He would later become the Building Official for Herriman City, Utah.
Jesse moved his family to Cross Lake, Manitoba where his Wife (Ethel) was from. Jesse would became a High School teacher. He loved working with students. Not only just working with his students but also being a mentor. Jesse was a great coach as well. He coached the local Minor Hockey team and coached the high schools baseball, wrestling and soccer teams. Jesse loved sports! Especially supported the University of Utah football team. The Utes! He rarely missed a game, even though he lived in the remote northern community. Jesse loved the outdoors, he loved hunting, fishing and even scouting for mule deer before and after every hunting season. He always had to make sure the big bucks were still alive. The greatest thing Jesse loved about the hunts was he knew his Bullock family would be there.
Jesse’s favorite verse was “look unto me in every thought, Doubt not, fear not.”
And his favorite saying he would say often was “you can either be lazy or stupid but you can’t be both”
